David Kidney MP visits Walton
David Kidney MP visited Walton High School's PE Department on Tuesday 30th September 2008 to acknowledge and celebrate the variety of good school clubs/links established within the community. The PE Department is supported and encouraged by the Stafford and Stone School Sport Partnership.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 
David Kidney MP met with Gina Wallis, Partnership Development Manager; Mary Robertson, Walton's School Sport Coordinator and Helen Spiers, Walton’s Young Ambassador. He also met Headteacher, Neil Finlay and Head of Physical Education, Greg Valentine.
 
He toured the Gym to observe Walton Chasers Orienteering Club assist Oakridge Primary and Berkswich Primary with map reading skills. He visited the swimming pool to meet Stafford and Stone Canoe Club who have been working with pupils since June and will coach students throughout the year. Finally, he met more Walton Chasers working with Oakridge pupils and Walton pupils on the school field who took part in orienteering competitions.
