Walton Students Climb North Africa’s Highest Mountain
11 students from years 9 and 10 climbed Mount Toubkal in Morocco this half term. They trekked over 40miles across the High Atlas Mountains before reaching the summit at 13,670 feet at 9.00am on Friday morning. They made an early start at 4.30am before crossing snowfields and coping with the fatigue of high altitude.
