BLAST OFF FOR SCIENCE EVENT AT WALTON!
Wednesday 9th March saw Walton hold a very successful Community Event. We had a great attendance from both primary students, Walton students and the general public.

Just under 100 primary students from Leasowes, Berkswich, Oakridge, Barnfields and Allsaints built rockets and launched them outside. Over 40 Walton students were creative in building and racing their team jitterbugs.

All the winners were presented with certificates and prizes at the end of the evening by Mr Jeremy Lefroy MP and Headteacher, Mr Neil Finlay.

The Stardome planetarium overflowed and many positive comments were received from the attendees. Queues formed for several activities including forensic fingerprinting and data logging.

A free baked potato supper kept up the energy levels and lots of fun was had by all.
